Dr. V., as she’s known by her patients, is a board-certified General Surgeon with over a decade of experience. She graduated with honors in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech, then earned her M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Vettukattil continued to further her education with a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins.

As a surgeon, she has been recognized as an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has special interests in minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgeries. Dr. V. believes in connecting with each patient and providing a personalized plan for their unique circumstance. This philosophy of care begins with an important step: truly listening. Once the patient has been heard and understood, she then leverages her expertise to provide choices that make sense for each individual.
