WOODSTOCK, GA (May 17, 2023) – The Woodstock Police Department announces an online portal where individuals may provide comments regarding compliance with Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) standards. Public feedback is received to promote community trust and engagement.
Anyone wishing to provide comments regarding Woodstock Police Department’s engagement in community, delivery of public safety services, and overall candidacy for accredited status may provide comments to CALEA through the following public comment portal:
These comments can be in the form of commendations or concerns.
Initially CALEA accredited in 2017 and receiving re-accreditation status in 2021, the Woodstock Police Department is committed to pursuing professional excellence through the highest standards set in the law enforcement profession. CALEA is considered the primary method for an agency to voluntarily demonstrate its commitment to excellence in law enforcement.
Woodstock Police Department is among the just 6% of law enforcement agencies in the state of Georgia that are both State Certified and Nationally Accredited law enforcement agencies.
