JASPER, GA (March 20, 2024) – The Pickens County Coin Club will host its Spring Coin Show Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Amicalola Electric Membership Corporation Dean Center, 544 Georgia-515 in Jasper.

The event and parking are free, security is provided, and all ages are welcome and encouraged to come and learn about coin collecting. The show features coins for collectors and is a great place for buying and selling coins. Small appraisals are available for free.

Attendees will find U.S. coins, foreign coins, currency, mint and proof sets, historical items and gold and silver bullion. Club President Chris Paire said attendees hoping to sell coins may find preferable deals at the show.

“Many times dealers will pay better than the average pawn shop, and with the economy as it is, if anyone with coins needs to sell this is a great way to do so with reputable coin dealers,” Paire said.

Dealer tables are $35 for members and $45 for non-members. Contact Vice President Phillip Reece at or 706-260-7053 to sign up for a table.

The Pickens County Coin Club is a well-established group of collectors from northwest Georgia and meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the Dean Center. Auctions start at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are free and all are welcome. Members can submit items for auctions. Annual membership is $10.
