WALESKA, GA (November 20, 2023) – Be transported in time back to the 1960s as tribute artist Lauren Fox traces the musical journey of singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell at the Falany Performing Arts Center on December 11 at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

“The Evolution of Joni Mitchell” is a show that celebrates the life and music of Joni Mitchell, the 1960s pioneer who evolved from early folk to folk-rock, to jazz and pop music over a 50-year career.

“It’s like having ‘both sides now,’ right here at Falany with the best of Joni Mitchell tunes as well as popular holiday songs,” said Jessica Akers, director of the Falany Performing Arts Center. “Join us for an evening of nostalgia and great entertainment during this holiday season.”

The concert will include Mitchell’s popular songs, such as “Both Sides Now,” “Big Yellow Taxi,” “Chelsea Morning,” Woodstock,” “The Circle Game,” “A Case of You,” “Free Man in Paris,” and “Turbulent Indigo.”

Lauren Fox is joined on stage by David Yaffe, the author of Joni Mitchell’s biography, Reckless Daughter.  Together, they tell the stories behind the famous singer’s songs.

Tickets are $40 to $45 for adults, $35 to $40 for seniors, and $10 to $15 for children (12 and younger). Tickets can be purchased at or by calling the box office at 770-720-9167.
