WALESKA, GA (May 10, 2024) – North Georgia’s newest children’s choir hosted by Reinhardt University, the Young Singers of Flint Hall (YSOFH), offers area youth opportunities to develop their talented voices and perform on a professional stage. Led by Dr. Martha Shaw, Reinhardt professor of music, the YSOFH rehearses at the Falany Performing Arts Center (FPAC).

In a benefit concert on May 23 at 7:30 p.m. at FPAC, Dr. Caroline Robinson performs an organ recital. This award-winning organist has performed at distinguished venues and conventions across the United States and abroad. American Public Media’s “Pipedreams” broadcast her playing and she is an active continuo player with early music ensembles. Dr. Robinson earned degrees from the Curtis Institute of Music and the Eastman School of Music. She currently serves as an organist and associate choirmaster at Atlanta’s Cathedral of St. Philip.

Dr. Shaw announced, “We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Caroline Robinson to the Flint Hall stage! Dr. Robinson is one of the most exciting young organists in the field today. We are also thankful to Northside Hospital, Cherokee for sponsoring this concert to benefit the Young Singers of Flint Hall. I can’t wait to see you at this wonderful event!”
